Dr. László Szerb is the leader and the brain of the Global Competitiveness Project.
​
For more than 20 years, Dr. Szerb has conducted research and published works that qualify and quantify the factors that result in economic growth and high-impact entrepreneurship.
​
Dr. Szerb is Professor in the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Pecs, Hungary.
Esteban Lafuente - Spain and Costa Rica Team

His research work is mostly devoted to the economic analysis of organizations, with special emphasis on models of managerial economics and topics in applied econometrics. Also, he is interested in the problems and possibilities of entrepreneurship and its economic benefits from a territorial perspective.

Dr. Lafuente is a Professor in the School of Business at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (ITCR).

The research interests of Jorge focus on family business, corporate governance and entrepreneurship, with special emphasis on the role of women in top management positions.

Dr. Moreno Gómez is Professor in the Departamento de Gestión Organizacional, Universidad de la Costa (Colombia).
Yancy Vaillant - France Team

Yancy Vaillant is Full Professor with the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department of Toulouse Business School (TBS). Also, he acts as an external consultant for the OECD's Governance and Territorial Policy division, having participated in several OECD territorial and policy reviews of many different countries (Mexico, Spain, Canada, Sweden, and Morocco).

His research interests are entrepreneurship, strategic management and territorial development.

Ramo Palalic is Assistant Professor in Faculty of Business and Administration, International University of Sarajevo, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

His research interests are entrepreneurship, marketing, and management. Also, he is involved in business projects and consultancy services in the areas of entrepreneurship and marketing, in private and public organizations. He has published several articles in reputable international journals. Currently, he is serving a few journals as reviewer/editor board member.

Alexander Chepurenko is Professor with the Department of Sociology (Faculty of Social Sciences) at the Higher School of Economics (HSE). Also, he is President of the National Institute for Strategic Investigations of Entrepreneurship Problems (Moscow).

His research interests are entrepreneurship, innovation and small business management.

Pablo Aguilera (PhD) collaborates as a Professor with the Business School at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), Cuernavaca Campus (Mexico).
During the last 25 years, Dr. Aguilera has been involved in a variety of projects with public and private organizations. His research interests mostly focus on entrepreneurship, strategic management and small business management.

OndÅ™ej Dvouletý is a Researcher at the Department of Entrepreneurship, University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic. His research interest is focused on entrepreneurship policy evaluation and entrepreneurial economics. He is interested in determinants of entrepreneurship and self-employment, measurement of entrepreneurial activity, evaluation of public entrepreneurship and SME policies and in a relationship between entrepreneurship and regional development. OndÅ™ej also actively contributes to the development of an academic community. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several journals.
